MEETING BY INTERNET VS MEETING IN PERSON

Since humans are in the surface of the earth, one of the most notable characteristic of them are that they cannot be isolated from the others, so they always need the company of friends or simply people who help them in the diversity of tasks that they have to do. In the past our ancestors made groups to hunt or to collect fruits and vegetables to eat; likewise, now we have the necessity to be surrounded by people in order to can realize our daily activities. As a result of this necessity, friendship is one of the most important things in the life of a person and now there are many ways to establish a meeting between two people for example we can have a meeting by internet or in person. However, there are some differences and similarities between those kinds of meetings.

One obvious difference is the distance. It was a problem for many years to establish a friendship, yet now Internet can make the communication between a person who is in Japan and one who is in Peru will be faster than 15 years ago, when if you wanted have a friend from another country, you have to travel in order to meet a new foreign friend or wait until some tourist came to your city. Nevertheless, Internet cannot make that you feel the touch of a friend like a kiss or a hug, things that when you are having a conversation in person can do.

Other difference between these types of conversations is the media of communication. While computer is the only way to have a meeting by internet, the ways that you have to have a meeting in person are diverse. For example you can visit a park, take a walk for the downtown of your city or go out to a mall.

Although there are some differences between these kinds of meetings, there are similarities, too.

Both ways of conversation have the same propose. Not only have a meeting by internet but also have a meeting in person give us the possibility to find out a new friend. When you are in a room chat is because you want to meet new people; similarly, if you are in party, you have the possibility to establish a friendship.

A final similarity is that both meeting by Internet and meeting in person gives you the opportunity to learn more. Meeting by Internet can be compared with meeting in person because you can share information, ideas and opinions about different topics and they help you to increase your knowledge.

Lastly, both types of meeting have similarities but also differences, which make the two kinds very useful for us, it means that we have both possibilities to choose or use both in order to start a more active social life.

TOURISM IN PERU IS INCREASING, FOR IT HAS WONDERFUL CONSEQUENCES

The first result of the growing of tourism in Peru is that our economy has increased. According to Era; Peru is between the 10 countries that has not suffered the consequences of the global crisis together with India, Thailand and Taiwan*2 and with the increase our economy we have experimented good causes. The first cause of it is that with the money that SUNAT receives from the taxes that big companies pay, government can build mores schools, churchs and villages for poor children, also government can make social projects to help people who live in bad conditions. As the second result, we can invest in more advanced technology to improve social items like security of the Peruvian cities, machines for hospitals and environmental issues. All of these items are very important if we can have a better country and be recognized like one of the first world, because if we are getting a increase in our economy the next goal is be a development country.

A second result is the fame that we have gotten thanks to the tourist who visit our country and thanks to the famous people who have come here, people like Leonardo Dicaprio, Susan Sarandon, Antonio Banderas, Cameron Diaz, Thalia. They have seen and lived our culture and when they return to their countries they have shared with friends and have made a chain of good comments about our customs, cuisine, places and people. Therefore, other people want to visit Peru and in this way the fame increase rapidly, so it has two gorgeous consequences. One of them is that we can have more opportunities to work, to study or to set up a business abroad. There are examples of people who have made a life in far countries like France, where there is a Peruvian restaurant named “Beauty Barranco” , whose owner is a Peruvian man and it has been visited by the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. Another country is Thailand, where Kola Real has a plant to produce soda, and a lot of more examples. The second gorgeous consequence of the fame is that important companies have decided open branches and make important investments, companies like Hilton hotels in Ica, . that have noticed the good potential that our country offers to make successful business in terms of tourism.

As a third result we have the increase of exportations. According to ADEX*3 we export 12% percent more than 8 years ago. Good examples of exportation are asparagus, coffee and weavings. The principal effects of exportation are: more jobs and less poor people. As a result of exportation Peruvian people have more opportunities to get a job because big companies produce tons of products to send abroad, not only big companies generate new employs also common people can generate their own job, for example potters made wonderful potteries that sell in fairs to the tourists. The decrease of poverty is the second effect of exportation, because people who live far from the cities usually have farms and they produce vegetables to sell to the big companies that process these vegetables and export abroad.

In brief, tourism is an important resource that we have and if we continue exploding it, but in a responsible way, with a lot of care and thinking in the future of our country, we are going to have more opportunities and consequently good results in many items as we can see.

While you are returning from your trip, go planning a special dinner with your family and this is the second step. As soon as you are at home, invite your relatives to a new restaurant and eat an unusual food, it could be a cuisine from a foreign country, after that end your dinner drinking with some wine. In her book named “Lucky wine”, Sarah London2 explains to us the good properties of the wine and one of them is that it alleviates the stress, so try it.

The third step is to organize a big party in your house. To have a successful party, invite all your friends and classmates, in this way your friend can meet new people and you too. The principal objective in this step is get a more active social life and consequently have the opportunity to look for people who can share your ideas and can help you with more information about your career of professional goals.
